Preparations
  • Wash painted surfaces thoroughly with soap and water to remove water-soluble contaminations.
  • Use appropriate Cleaner
  • Sand with 400 - 600 grit sand paper.
  • Using other Manufactures Primers & Sealers, refer to their product tech sheets for over and under compatibilities
Mixing Ratio
  • Standard Mix : 1 Part Basecoat to 1 Part Reducer.
  • Standard Mix Pot Life : Up to 12 Months or longer
  • Activated Mix : Use .75 ounces per ready to spray Quart. 1 Part Basecoat to 1 Part Reducer. Stir to combined then add .75 ounces of Activator per mixed Quart and stir again till combined.
  • Activated Pot Life : 2 hours when mixed.
Application
  • 2 -3 coats or until hiding is achieved.
  • 5 - 10 minutes at 70 F with at 1:1 Reducer Mix
    10 - 15 minutes at 70 F when activator is used
  • Dry times to clearcoat at 70 F - 1:1 mix is 15 - 20 Minutes. 12 - 24 hours maximum to clearcoat.
  • Dry times to clearcoat at 70 F with Activators
    30 Minutes - 4 Hours. After 4 hours,
    basecoat must be scuffed and recoated
